ENDANGERED SPECIES DAY – May 18

A Celebration of America’s Commitment to Protect Wildlife

This Friday, May 18, 2007, Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens will celebrate endangered species success stories and talk about Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens’ conservation efforts and how you can help protect wildlife. Learn about the rescue and rearing of the Zoo’s Florida Panther kittens that were abandoned in the wild and the rare and incredible whooping cranes.

Come join us for our schedule of “Keeper Talks” that will enlighten you about what your Zoo is doing to preserve our nation’s endangered species and what you can do as well.
